Dr. Michael LaLa, a highly qualified dentist, boasts an impressive educational background and years of experience in the field. After graduating from LSU School of Dentistry, he took charge of his own practice in 1984. Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, he pursued further education by completing a General Dentistry Mini-Residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans following his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Nicholls State University.

With unwavering belief in the significance of preventative dental care, Dr. LaLa goes above and beyond to offer recommendations that help individuals maintain healthy teeth and gums throughout their lives. Recognizing the importance of staying abreast with cutting-edge advancements, he dedicates himself to attending numerous continuing education courses each year. 

While dentistry remains his passion, Dr. Lala's personal life also flourishes happily alongside it - celebrating over three decades of marital bliss with Susan while raising two beloved sons, Austin and Adam. He also enjoys hobbies such as hunting or passionately supporting LSU Football.

Dr. Liz Heirtzler, a local dentist with an impressive 37 years of experience, graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in 1986 and initially worked as an intensive care registered nurse. She is passionate about education, and the highlight of her career was when she was invited to lecture at the LSU dental school's professional development curriculum. 

Besides dentistry, Dr.Heirtzler enjoys various hobbies such as tennis, ballroom dance, and gardening. However, nothing brings her more joy than being known as "The Fun Aunt Lizzie" by the kids in her family circle. 

She firmly believes that caring for patients is not only a duty but also an honor; she strives to incorporate their treatment goals into the ideals of dentistry while fostering respect throughout their journey together. Joining Greenwell Springs Family Dentistry has brought immense satisfaction to Dr.Heirtzler's career journey; she eagerly looks forward to meeting new patients soon.
